What started as an opportunity for personal growth and discovery, to improve my own (working) life, has grown into a mission to help others grow, develop and prosper in their lives and careers. I have regular supervision and mentoring to help me continuously develop and further shape my coaching skills.
I offer Co-Active coaching to organisations and individuals to help them improve their performance, build resilience, find a good work-life balance, and managing change.
Originally Dutch, I live and work in Winchester, Hampshire UK since 2006, with my husband and 2 daughters. I love being in nature, cooking, gardening, reading, music (playing saxophone in several bands), and above all enjoying life!
I have an engineering background in Geo-IT & Cartography and have been working in the commercial and non-profit (IT) industry for 20 years. This was in different roles as an engineer, consultant, sales, (project) manager, and program manager.
In 2003 I was diagnosed with and treated for breast cancer, which marked a major learning moment in my life. This is when I discovered the power of coaching that helped me to re-assess my life and to find a new life balance.
Subsequently, in 2008, I certified as a life coach at the prestigious Coaches Training Institute (CTI), accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). and established Winchester Life Coaching & Training.
There is still a bridge with my previous career as a Cartographer: “I used to map the world, I now help others to map their lives.”
In 2009 I founded LYLAC™: Live Your Life After Cancer, offering coaching and (virtual) workshops to people impacted by cancer.
In 2017 I joined Working With Cancer® as one of their associates. Working With Cancer® supports people affected by cancer to manage cancer in the workplace through Consultancy, Training, and Coaching.
Meet your Coaching Supervisor
I’m qualified as a Coaching Supervisor with the ICCS (International Centre for Coach Supervision), accredited by the Association for Coaching. Meet your trainer
I’m providing webinars, (virtual) workshops, masterclasses and bespoke in-house training within organisations on a variety of topics. I’m also delivering training modules within the local community trough Community First.
